"We definitely need to improve and do some solid recruiting in the off season," said JCSU head volleyball coach Emerald Fulmore. "We'll miss having our seniors on the court and their overall presence to the team. They're talented young ladies and I wish them nothing but success in the future."
Unfortunately, Johnson C. Smith wraps up the 2009 season with a 13-match losing streak, a 0-10 divisional record, and failing to qualify for the CIAA Volleyball Championships. The CIAA Volleyball Championships will be held November 6-8, 2009 in Hampton, VA at the Boo Williams Complex.
