Dedrick Anderson led the Golden Bulls in rushing with 167 yards against WVU Tech this past weekend

Dedrick Anderson the Rookie of the Week for the week ending August 29th.
Anderson (5'4, 150 lbs, Winston-Salem, NC) rushed for a game-high 167 yards on 20 carries and one touchdown against West Virginia Institute of Technology. He broke the game open with a 50 yard TD sprint in the first quarter, then sprung lose for 52 yards on his first carry after halftime. Anderson also gained 61 yards receiving on three catches for a total of 228 all-purpose yards.
JCSU will return to action on Saturday, September 5th when they face the Vikings of Elizabeth City State University. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 pm inside the Irwin Belk Complex.
