Jerry Hollis won All-CIAA honors his entire 4-year career at JCSU; he's ranked in the top five in the CIAA for Scoring, Rebounds, and Blocks

Jerry Hollis (Charlotte, NC) and
James Dillard (Apex, NC) collected their All-CIAA First Team honors at the 2010 CIAA Basketball Tournament Tipoff Luncheon held at the Charlotte Convention Center.
Hollis has named All-CIAA for the fourth time in his career. He finished the 2009-10 regular season ranked fifth in the CIAA in scoring, fourth in rebounding, and third in blocked shots. Hollis is averaging 16.3 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks per game. He received Preseason All-CIAA First team honor and was named CIAA Player of the Week (week ending 01/16/10). Hollis reached a single game career-high in points (32) and rebounds (19) against Lincoln University this year.
Dillard has received his second consecutive All-CIAA honor. He concluded the year 11th in the conference in scoring, fourth in blocked shots, and 12th in rebounding. Dillard is averaging 13.7 points, 1.3 blocks, and 6.2 rebounds per game.
Honorees included members of the 2010 All-CIAA men's and women's teams, All-Rookie teams, Defensive Players of the Year, Players of the Year, Coaches of the Year, Division Champions and teams with the highest GPA.

JCSU enters the 2010 CIAA Tournament as the #5 seed. They'll square off against Chowan University (No. 4) on Thursday, February 25th at 7:00 pm inside the Time Warner Cable Arena.
