Trevin Parks averaged 21 points and 4 assists this week en route to being selected CIAA Player of the Week

Trevin Parks (Hickory, NC) has been recognized by the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) as the Player of the Week for the week ending January 21, 2012. This is the fourth conference player of the week honor for Parks this season.
Parks continues to represent the CIAA as one of the best scorers in the nation. He leads the conference and ranks third in NCAA Division II with his 23.9 points per game average. Parks is shooting 43% from the three point line and averages four assists per contest.
This week, he poured in 62 points, including a 28-point performance on the road against Virginia Union. Parks produced 23 points against long-time division rival Livingstone College to lift his team to a 74-69 win on the Blue Bears' home court. He has also added 13 assists and shot 91.6% from the free throw line this week.
The Golden Bulls return to the court and conclude a five-game road stretch on Tuesday, January 24th against Virginia State University. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. inside Daniel Gymnasium on the campus of VSU in Ettrick, VA.
