2012 National Letter of Intent Signees, the newest additions to Golden Bull Football
Charlotte, NC – The Johnson C. Smith University Golden Bulls football coaching staff has released the 2012 National Letter of Intent Signees for the upcoming season. These are the newest members of the JCSU family and the Golden Bulls football squad.
1.)
Akil Abdulbarr, 5'9, 160, Defensive Back, Stafford, VA/Brooke Point HS
2.)
Alan Carson, 5'9, 170, Defensive Back, Rex, GA/MLK HS
Carson received All-County and All-Region honors his senior year. He participated in the Georgia East-West All-Star game. Carson tallied 65 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, two interceptions, and a sack. His team finished 12-1 last year and his senior class had 23 commitments on signing day.

Najee Daniels, 6'2, 275, Offensive Line, Stone Mountain, GA/Stephenson HS
Daniels earned first team All-Region and second team All-State honors as a senior. He graded 85% on the year in blocking. His team finished 9-2 and his senior class had 26 commitments on signing day.

Keith Darnell, 5'9, 185, Linebacker, Jonesboro, GA/Mount Zion HS

Michael Grant, 5'10, 195, Defensive Back, Bluffton, SC, Bluffton HS

Brett Love, 5'10, 170, Defensive Back, Lithonia, GA/Lithonia HS
Love earned All-County and All-Region honors last season. He recorded 100 tackles in his junior season. Love had 64 tackles in six games at the safety position. He was elected as the team's defensive MVP.

Dimitri Lowery, 6'2, 175, Wide Receiver, Hardeesville, SC/Bluffton HS

Khory Marable, 5'10, 245, Fullback, Birmingham, AL/John Carroll HS

Louis McGee, III, 6'1, 180, Wide Receiver, Lawrenceville, GA/Central Gwinnett HS
McGee earned first team All-County honors as a senior. He played in the Gwinnett County All-Star game. Last season, he recorded 50 catches for 705 yards with 10 touchdowns.

Brice Smith, 6'4, 280, Offensive Line, Atlanta, GA/West Lake HS
Smith was elected team captain and earned first team All-Region honors. He was selected to participate in the Atlanta All-Star game.

Luke Stennett, 6'1, 210, Linebacker, Charlotte, NC/Marvin Ridge HS
Stennett earned First Team All-SCC honors at the defensive back position. He also received First Team All-Union County honors as a DB. Stennett was named Defensive Player of the Year at Marvin Ridge. In his senior season, he recorded 58 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, three sacks, four interceptions, and recovered three fumbles.
