JCSU's Green and Williams Perform Well at 2008 Penn Relays



Freshman Leford Green finished 6th in the college men 400 meter hurdles championship at the 2008 Penn Relays

Johnson C. Smith University sent two student-athletes, Leford Green and Shermaine Williams to the 2008 Penn Relays. Both athletes returned with top 20 finishes.

Green finished sixth in the college men 400 meter hurdles championship with a time of 51.11 seconds. He was the only Division II student-athlete to finish in the top 10.

Williams ran a great race in the college women 100 meter hurdles. Her time of 13.63 seconds was good for 13th overall.
