Six Golden Bulls earned CIAA Softball honors at the annual softball social held on the campus of Virginia State University. Kawehionapua Chan, Rashondae Henderson, Saeedah Reed, Allycia Watanabe, and Ashley Williams were all named to the 2008 All-Rookie team.

Henderson was selected to the team as a second baseman while Reed and Williams were chosen as outfielders. Watanabe, who led the CIAA in strikeouts while leading the team in batting (.448) was selected as a pitcher.

Chan, who was also named the 2008 CIAA Rookie of the Year, was second in the conference in doubles with 11 while batting .347. She made the All-Rookie team as a catcher.

Nijah Braddox was named All-CIAA at the first base position.
